Join us for the Sara Elizabeth Clark Walk, to raise funds for the It’s Not Who I Am Epilepsy Fund and the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley.
The Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group is throwing our full support behind this epilepsy advocate and her walk. We would like to invite you to support Sara’s 6th Annual Walk for Epilepsy being held on Sunday, June 5, 2011, at The State University of New York at New Paltz (SUNY). Her first five walks raised over $60,000 and all funds went directly to support epilepsy services in the Hudson Valley of NY.
Who is Sara Elizabeth?: Now seizure free, she had her first seizure when she was 16 months old. Throughout her young life, Sara experienced both tonic‐clonic and partial complex uncontrollable seizures. Six years ago, Sara Elizabeth, now 16 years‐old, and a New Paltz High School student, turned her focus outward and organized this annual event as a way to create awareness of the disorder.
