Purple Day began in 2008 and is now the world’s largest epilepsy event, with over 100 countries taking part. Founded by nine-year-old Canadian Cassidy Megan to raise awareness and shine a light on epilepsy.
On Purple Day you can choose to do anything PURPLE: your clothes, paint your face or nails, chage your porch light to purple, participate in a run or walk, do a purple bake sale, etc. The possibilities are endless. Just make sure to highlight March 26, 2012 for epilepsy!
