NEREG is designated officially in 2010 as a Tuberous Sclerosis and Dravet Syndrome
Referral Center

NEREG is designated officially in 2010 as a Tuberous Sclerosis and Dravet Syndrome Referral Center thus forming part of the Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Clinic Network and the Collaborative Clinical Research and Comprehensive Care Network (CCR-CCN). Patients with these conditions can access exceptional and specialized care from our epileptologists and our entire epilepsy team.

NEREG was granted the designation of Certified Level 4 Epilepsy Center in four of its hospital programs

The Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group based in Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) was the first Certified Level 4 Epilepsy Center in the state of New Jersey. Recently, the Atlantic Neuroscience Comprehensive Epilepsy Center and Saint Peter's University Hospital, two other Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group programs, were also recognized with the same distinction. In the state of New York, the Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group program of White Plains Hospital Center received the same certification.
