Our epilepsy community of patients, family, friends and doctors has been busy

Patients, family members, friends, doctors, office managers, secretaries and nurses have all been extra-busy these last few months raising epilepsy awareness on International Epilepsy Day and some very kind and talented supporters have been knitting items to be raffled to support Epilepsy Free.  Read all about the activities NEREG and their patients have been a part of this year and check out the photo gallery in the link provided!

International Epilepsy Day

This day started out as a joint initiative of the International Bureau for Epilepsy (IBE) and the International League against Epilepsy (ILAE). On this special date, people come together to celebrate epilepsy across the globe in the 138 of countries in which IBE and ILAE are represented. The International Epilepsy Day is the most global epilepsy event in the world and so, of course, NEREG was front and center representing epilepsy and raising awareness in many of our offices.  Our Morristown and Hackensack offices in New Jersey and our offices in White Plains and Manhattan went all out decorating with banners, offering funny frames for selfies, delicious treats, raffles of items, and handing out cool giveaways such as purple necklaces, pens, and more.  If you happened to come by one of these offices on February 13, you probably got the chance to enjoy the celebration. If you missed it, just keep it in mind for next year.
