Book recommendation: Guide on Epilepsy in plain Spanish: Qué necesitas saber si la epilepsia ha tocado tu vida

This is the Spanish translation of "What you need to know if epilepsy has touched your life: a Guide in plain English" written by Dr. Marcelo Lancman. The book came about because he wanted to provide his patients with a clear and concise explanation of everything they might encounter on their journey with epilepsy (e.g. diagnosis, seizure and epilepsy types, treatment options, special topics, etc.).  His co-authors contributed to certain chapters based on their area of expertise. The book was translated into Spanish in order to reach the many patients and family members who live with epilepsy and were in great need of a guide in their mother tongue.  You might also be pleasantly surprised to know that all royalties from the book are donated to the Epilepsy Free not-for-profit which is then used for summer camp and continuing adult education scholarships for persons living with epilepsy and seizure disorders.

The book can be purchased here:

Or you may want to request a complimentary copy next time you visit your doctor at one of the Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group offices.
