Even though many activities were cut short in recent months, our epilepsy and seizures community of patients, family members, and doctors has kept busy! We are all very proud of Katheleen Boreale MS, APN-BC, one of our fantastic nurses, who earned her Ph.D.! Also, our doctors have continued publishing their research which you can check out below.
a) A massive shout out goes to Nurse Practitioner, Kathleen Boreale for successfully defending her doctoral dissertation: PARENTS' EXPERIENCE CARING FOR CHILDREN WITH DRUG RESISTANT EPILEPSY. She has been working on her Ph.D. at the Graduate School-Newark Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. Let's all join her in celebrating this superb achievement!
