Our NEREG/MAESC Epilepsy Book Club met on a Friday in May to discuss the moving and powerful book by Kurt Eichenwald, “A mind unraveled”.  The group discussed their thoughts and emotional reactions to the book’s content including Mr. Eichenwald’s experiences with epilepsy, how this played out in his college years, his work experiences, and when he interacted with medical doctors and even a neuropsychologist over the years.

Our monthly epilepsy support group met with new members arriving every month. Participation has been active, questions and answers come up every month, and solid support is provided between group members which is the main reason for this group’s existence in the first place.
