Our epilepsy specialists in New York and New Jersey are actively working

Our epilepsy specialists have been busy over the summer of 2013 giving webinars on treating epilepsy through surgery and dealing with epilepsy in the school.  Dr. Christos Lambrakis spent after-hours teaching medical students and high school students about epilepsy and seizures.  And, the final results came in from our National Epilepsy Walk earlier this year with an awe-inspiring amount of money raised for the American Epilepsy Society.

Dr. Matt Evans
spoke about treating epilepsy with surgery to a lively group of attendees in a webinar on August 6. The webinar is now available on-line at the www.epilepsygroup.com site.

Dr. Robert Trobliger spoke about ways to survive and thrive in school with epilepsy on July 2nd.

Dr. Christos Lambrakis gave several lectures about epilepsy and seizures over the summer, including to medical students at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in July and to high school students from Pine Bush High School Medical Academy.

The final results from the Epilepsy Foundation regarding total funds collected for the American Epilepsy Society (AES) showed that there were over 750 actual and virtual walkers came together to raise $82,719.01 for the American Epilepsy Society education and research training funds at the Washington, DC National Epilepsy Walk 2013!  A special salute goes out to the Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group team for being the TOP fundraising team!
