Feature Article: KIDS SPEAK UP to the US Congress about epilepsy

The Kids Speak Up! Program is an exciting project developed by the Epilepsy Foundation. Children with epilepsy between the ages of 8-18 are invited to visit Washington, DC with their families from all over the USA. This program allows them to speak directly to their Congress representatives about all sorts of important things to do with epilepsy with the hopes that "the words of babes" may promote real change.

In this issue, we are featuring, Sam Magda, one of our young patients and a New Jersey kid who SPOKE UP to Congress when she went to DC in March 2011.
