Secondary generalized seizures
• Starts focalized (pinpointed) but evolves into a tonic-clonic seizure. It could start as a simple partial seizure, then evolve into a complex partial seizure and then into a secondary generalized tonic-clonic seizure
• Reflects the amount of brain involved progressively
• EEG: will show the same findings as described above followed by generalized epileptiform activity.
