Our community of patients, family members, and doctors have been busy

What a few months it has been!  Our epilepsy and seizure disorders community has been all over the map, marching for epilepsy on April 16 in Washington, DC, riding the 5 boro bike tour in New York City on May 1 for Epilepsy Free, and walking through Hudson Valley for epilepsy just one week later.  We also offered our first ever introduction to chess seminars that were held on-line.

Our epilepsy and seizure disorders community has been all over the map these last few months. On April 16 team Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group marched for epilepsy in Washington, DC raising an incredible $2267.50!  A few weeks later, Dr. Lorna Myers rode the 5 boro bike tour in New York City on May 1 raising epilepsy and seizure disorders awareness and badly needed funds for Epilepsy Free (a foundation that grants scholarships to children with epilepsy for summer camp and for adults diagnosed with epilepsy and seizure disorders to continue their education).  NEREG agreed to match funds raised up to May 1 and a whopping $6100 was raised!! And just one week later, team captain, Shelby Santucci, of team NEREG walked through Hudson Valley for epilepsy and raised another $1625 to help the Epilepsy Foundation of NENY!

We also offered our first ever introduction to chess seminars that were held on-line and taught by masterful chess instructor, Jace Jones.
