News about Epilepsy Free not-for-profit
This calls for a celebration! Epilepsy Free, our not-for-profit, granted:
Seven $400 summer camp scholarships to children living with epilepsy.
Five $1000 and four $500 continuing education scholarships to adults living with epilepsy and psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES).
Epilepsy Free is one of the only not-for-profits that grants scholarships regardless of your state of residence. So, applications came in from around the US (Wisconsin, Florida, Kansas, etc.). We are so happy to have been able to help out these children and adult students. If you donated to my May 1 bike-a-thon that Dr. Lorna Myers and her team rode, you should be especially happy because you helped fund these wonderful scholarships.
