Stay Tuned - Mark your calendars

1) March 26, 2012: Purple Day

Purple Day began in 2008 and is now the world’s largest epilepsy event, with over 100 countries taking part. Founded by nine-year-old Canadian Cassidy Megan to raise awareness and shine a light on epilepsy.

On Purple Day you can choose to do anything PURPLE: your clothes, paint your face or nails, change your porch light to purple, participate in a run or walk, do a purple bake sale, etc. The possibilities are endless.

2) March 31, 2012: National Epilepsy Walk in Washington, DC

The Northeast  Regional Epilepsy Group will be participating in the National Walk for Epilepsy scheduled to take place on the National Mall in Washington, DC come rain, shine, or even snow. The money we raise will go to fight stigma, raise awareness and find a cure for epilepsy. We need your support, so please join our team or make a donation to the team if you want to be a virtual walker.  Our goal is $5000 but we think we can do better with your help. Join our team by going to www.epilepsygroup.com and registering through our event page.
