Epilepsy on the Move: Stay tuned for upcoming events and news having to do with epilepsy and seizures in the second half of 2018

The Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group is marching full steam ahead by participating in a truckload of activities. These range from walks to runs, to conferences, to lectures.  Every one of these events helps move epilepsy and seizure disorders forward! We hope you will choose to join us for at least a few.

JUNE 2018

June 10
2018 Take a Walk in Our Genes
Melissa Carollo, captain of team Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group will be marching to raise funds.  All funds raised will support the needs of the patients and families of the Genetics Services Department at the Hackensack Meridian Health Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital.

JULY 2018

The 2018 Dravet Syndrome Foundation (DSF) Biennial Family & Professional Conference
Dr. Eric Segal, director of the Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group Pediatric Epilepsy Program will be presenting on Second-line treatments in Dravet's syndrome.

OCTOBER 2018

October 20
Annual Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group conference on Epilepsy and Psychogenic non-epileptic seizures

October 27
Glow Walk and Run
Team Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group will march for epilepsy. All funds raised go to the incredible Epilepsy Foundation of New Jersey.

Drs. Robert Trobliger, Ruifan Zeng and Lorna Myers will present: "Dissociative seizures (psychogenic non-epileptic): The neuropsychology, the psychology and treatment of this intriguing mental health disorder"
