On October 19, 2019, the Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group held its Sixth Annual Psychogenic non-epileptic Seizures (PNES) Conference for patients, loved ones and health professionals.  The conference lasted from 9AM-3:30 PM and took place at the Roger Smith Hotel on 501 Lexington Avenue, New York, New York, 10017, New York, NY. As always, it was free of charge and as we have come to expect, it drew an audience from all over the US (including Texas, Missouri, Virginia, and others) and even a couple from Canada.  We had the pleasure of hearing two new speakers, Drs. Paola Bailey and Deepti Anbarasan.  The surveys filled out by those who attended showed that the audience really appreciated the event and had a very positive experience.

On October 26, 2019, team Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group participated in the  Glow Walk and Run for the Epilepsy Services of New Jersey in Liberty State Park. NEREG was the official food sponsor for this exciting event and the team managed to bring in a whopping $2550.  Much of this was the result of the outstanding leadership of team captain, Mary Holtz.
