Our epilepsy and seizures community of patients, family, friends and doctors has been busy!

Our community of patients, relatives, friends and doctors has been busy! Although Covid-19 has been very much present, our staff continued to put their best efforts forward to keep life moving towards normalcy.  Our doctors have been busy educating the world about epilepsy in children, the neuropsychology of epilepsy and about medical marijuana for children diagnosed with epilepsy.

On March 2, 2021: Grand Rounds at Englewood Hospital: 
Dr. Eric Segal, Director of Pediatric Epilepsy at the Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group was invited to give Grand Rounds at Englewood Hospital on March 2nd at 8:15AM.

On March 24, Dr. Robert Trobliger, Director of Neuropsychology at the Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group, was the keynote speaker at Purple Day around the world: Homeschooled Virtual Epilepsy Conference. This excellent educational event was organized by the Anita Kaufman Foundation. 

April 14: Dr. Eric Segal was a speaker in a webinar that is available on Medscape.org titled: Ask the Experts: What Practical Information Do I Need to Know About Cannabinoids?

April 20: Dr. Firas Taha, pediatric epileptologist at the Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group, was a presenter at the Epilepsy Services of New Jersey (a member of the Epilepsy Alliance of America) half day virtual symposium on Medicinal Cannabis.  Dr. Firas Taha spoke on Epilepsy and Medicinal Marijuana: What the Research Says "When and why to consider medicinal cannabis for your child with epilepsy"
