Epilepsy on the Move: Stay tuned for upcoming epilepsy and seizure disorder events and news in the last quarter of 2023! In September, we are starting up many of our yearly activities, including our quarterly virtual epilepsy book club and our virtual monthly epilepsy support group. Also, our doctors are continuing their educational outreach with online webinars.  However, if an Epilepsy Walk or Run or attending an Epilepsy Expo is more your thing, then read on about two upcoming events in October.  And later in December, the American Epilepsy Society meeting that will be held in Orlando, FL where many of the Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group doctors and clinical staff will travel to present their research and to learn from others.

September 15 (Friday) at 12 noon, the Epilepsy Book Club is back up and running and meeting to talk about our most recent book choice, “Grand Mal” by Joshua Holmes.  To register, email lmyers@epilepsygroup.com

September 20 (Wednesday) at 12 noon, the virtual epilepsy support group for adult patients and their loved ones starts up again and will run monthly through June 2024. To register, email lmyers@epilepsygroup.com

October 22: Epilepsy Services of New Jersey will be hosting its TENTH annual trick-or-treat Walk/Run in Parsippany, NJ.  This is one of the most festive epilepsy events in our region and helps raise very necessary funds to keep the Epilepsy Services up and running.

October 30: Epilepsy Alliance America is a national organizing partner of Epilepsy Expo and Awareness Day at Disneyland Resort. This is a two-day expo and is an amazing experience for all who are in attendance.  https://epilepsygroup.com/news_patients_providers6-20-2-353/epilepsy-expo-and-awareness-day-at-disneyland-resort.htm
