For our December issue, we asked our website (epilepsygroup.com) visitors about certification in seizure first aid.
As a patient or caregiver, are you certified in seizure first aid?
We learned that half of our visitors, responded that they were not certified in seizure first aid and some did not even know that these courses existed. With so many free online certification courses being offered by Epilepsy Alliance America and the Epilepsy Foundation, we hope that these respondents will take the time to visit one of the many courses and brush up on these necessary skills. You never know when you might need them.
