Do you feel that people’s views of epilepsy have improved in the last 20 years? Visitors to our website homepage responded throughout the months that the survey was posted. Final results are uplifting, suggesting that efforts to educate the public, raise awareness, and combat stigma over the last decades have made an impact. Most respondents (88%) felt that how epilepsy is viewed has improved or has improved in some respects. This is encouraging and gives us impetus to keep working on raising epilepsy awareness and education through all the many existing initiatives and new ones that may pop up over the years.
